Prema Shanti Yoga Attendance Protocal

In order to maintain a safe, meditative, and sacred space for all students who attend classes at Prema Shanti Yoga the following protocols are submitted to you for your information and guidance.

  • All studio closings are announced on the studio answering machine.  This includes inclement weather closings, all holiday closings, and all vacation closings.  Inclement weather closing will be recorded up to 30 minutes prior to class start time.   If you have provided me with a working email you will also receive an announcement of all closings ASAP.  If in doubt please call the studio.
  • All schedules are subject to change without prior notice.  If you have given me a working email you will be notified of changes.  If you have not been to the studio in a while please contact the studio director.
  • Classes begin promptly.  Arrive 10 minutes prior to class-scheduled time to settle in, fill out paperwork, and take care of essentials.  This facilitates a smooth, safe and peaceful class experience for all students.  If you arrive late and class has begun please do not disturb the class- we have begun centering, breathing and relaxing. The door remains locked during class time- No Entry Latecomers.  Please respect the other student’s class time, as you would want them to do the same for you.
  • Refer to studio class payment policy, available at studio and website.
  • The yoga instructor will not wait longer than 15 minutes after scheduled class time to begin if no one has arrived for class before closing studio and/or leaving.
  • If you have arrived on time and the instructor has not arrived please give the instructor up to 10 minutes past the start of class time to arrive.  Instructor is probably delayed due to a traffic situation.  Thank you.
  • Observing a class is not an option.  To understand and receive the benefits of yoga practice one needs to participate.  This also maintains an optimal relaxing experience for all participating students.
